The PAT platform includes the following innovative solutions:

PATsend Bank customers use PATsend to transfer money from their bank account to another person’s bank account domestically or internationally using a mobile phone. The sender uses the recipient’s telephone number to identify them.
PATbuy Registered PATbuy users can pay for products or services from participating merchants via mobile phone.
PATbank PATbank enables bank customers to perform a variety of mobile banking tasks using their mobile phone, including bill payment, viewing statements and viewing account balances.

Bank competitors are not only taking revenue away from financial institutions, but they are also building a trusted brand for payments. CPNI is committed to helping banks defend and grow their payments franchise by allowing payments, money transfers and access to banking services to occur with convenience, speed, security and low cost using a mobile phone. All services are delivered with a single downloadable mobile application.

Global mobile phone ownership has risen to 4.6 billion in 2009, equivalent to more than 68% of the world’s population (International Telecommunication Union, October 6, 2009). The widespread use of mobile phones provides the opportunity to identify both senders and recipients by phone number. The phone number is the best method of uniquely identifying both banked and unbanked individuals.
