CPNI

CPNI operates the centralized routing and authentication mechanism between financial institutions, Trusted Service Providers and merchants. CPNI Inc. provides best in class mobile commerce solutions and participates in the operation of systems infrastructure for distributed payment processes.

Financial Institutions

Financial institutions sublicense PAT solutions from Trusted Service Providers and offer them to customers as new money transfer, payment and mobile banking services. The majority of revenue flows to the bank. PAT solutions leverage a bank's existing infrastructure and systems, including bank accounts, KYC (Know Your Customer) checks, security policies and clearing and settlement mechanisms. PAT solutions are profitable for a single bank with even greater benefits as other banks participate in the PAT network.

Customers

Bank customers access PAT solutions through their phones via a downloadable Java application. By using their phone as a payments tool, customers can make convenient payments and transfers as well as access banking services.

Trusted Service Providers

Trusted Service Providers act as resellers, regional licensors and integrators of PATsend, PATbuy and PATbank solutions. They orchestrate the interaction between PAT and the mobile phone and perform message routing between banks and merchants in other areas of the world.

Merchants

Merchants use PATbuy to accept mobile payments or expand their existing mCommerce business. Merchants save on costs by integrating with the network once and avoiding the work involved in dealing with each customer's bank, or by developing their own mobile offering.
