Patrick Bird
President and CEO
Mr. Bird was founder and President of Isolation Systems, a provider of network security products, from 1979 until 1997. During that time, he managed the development of the first secure microcomputer co-processor which was evaluated for and certified for use by the U.S. Department of Defense. He then conceived, developed and deployed the first commercial VPN (Virtual Private Network) in a team with Cisco Systems. Isolation Systems was sold to Shiva Inc., which was later acquired by Intel. Prior to Isolation Systems, Mr. Bird was with Northern Telecom (now Nortel) in financial and systems management roles.
Paramjit Gill
Vice President, Deployment
Mr. Gill has spent over 12 years in the IT industry, including 6 years in the m-commerce space in North America, working with customers spread around the world.
Mr. Gill understands the issues and challenges in deploying these emerging solutions in different markets globally and has successfully executed contracts and deployed these solutions at leading Banks and other large organizations.
At CPNI, Mr. Gill is responsible for all activities pertaining to the deployment of the CPNI products and is actively engaged in pre-sales and customer relationship management.
Mr. Gill holds an MBA from Marquette University, WI.
